Rehema (she/her) was born into a Tanzanian family and raised in Botswana before she moved to the US to achieve her childhood dream of becoming a pediatrician. Along the way, she also worked as a high school chemistry and psychology teacher (at a boarding school in the Middle East!) and after practicing medicine for a few years, became a certified professional coach in a style known as “healing-centered coaching.”
Her international background instilled in her a true love of diversity in all its forms, as well as a deep respect for the variety of ways in which people approach caregiving. As an empath and a fellow mom who struggled a lot in the postpartum period, she is especially passionate about supporting all types of families as they navigate the challenges of early parenting in an increasingly complex world. She knows that we all have profound wisdom within us and often need just a little bit of support in learning how to tap into that wellspring of power.
Rehema holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.D. and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. In her spare time, she endeavors to maintain balance through a combination of reading thoughtful poetry and prose, joy filled movement and the intentional cultivation of deeply meaningful relationships.

Loidaly (Loy-duh-lee; she/ella) fell in love with birthing support during her first pregnancy journey. She believes labor is a time to tap into personal, collective, and ancestral power. She loves being able to hold space and find ways to elevate families internal support systems during a season of blooming.
Bearing witness to the birth and rebirth of families in such a liminal time brightens her heart and sparks her passions. She has a PhD in Counselor Education and has been holding space for empathy in complexity for over 10 years. She is originally from Puerto Rico and is bilingual (Spanish-English). Loidaly believes that chosen families, whatever they may look like, should be the primary supports during the birthing process and focuses her doula work on empowering the collective unit. Outside of birthing, Loidaly tends to the cycle of life through gardening, floral arranging, and being an active social justice activist in personal and professional spaces.
